We are looking to employ an accountant who will be responsible for maintaining financial records, analysing financial data, and preparing financial reports for a company or organisation.
Role: As an accountant, your primary role will be to maintain and update financial records, prepare and review financial statements, and assist with budgeting and forecasting. You will also be responsible for identifying financial discrepancies and ensuring compliance with financial regulations.
Responsibilities: The responsibilities of an Accountant may include managing financial records and bookkeeping tasks, preparing financial reports and statements, performing audits and ensuring compliance with accounting standards and assisting with budgeting and forecasting. You will handle monthly, quarterly and annual closings as well as reconcile accounts payable and receivable You will also analyse financial data and identify discrepancies and maintain confidentiality of financial information.
What we are looking for: We are looking for an accountant with a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or related field, with strong knowledge of accounting principles and financial regulations and experience with accounting software and MS Excel. An ideal candidate should have attention to detail and accuracy, alongside good communication and interpersonal skills.
Even better if you have/are: An ideal candidate for an accountant may have CPA certification, experience with financial analysis and data interpretation, or knowledge of tax laws and regulations. You may also be familiar with ERP systems or have experience in a specific industry (e.g. gambling industry).
