We are looking to employ a bartender, a hospitality professional who creates and serves drinks to customers. You must have a thorough understanding of mixing techniques, alcohol, and non-alcoholic beverages, as well as excellent customer service skills.

Role: As a bartender, you will be responsible for creating and serving a variety of beverages to customers, including cocktails, beers, wines, and non-alcoholic options. You will also be responsible for keeping the bar area clean and organised, handling cash and credit card transactions, and ensuring that customers have an enjoyable experience.

Responsibilities: As a bartender, you will greet and interact with customers in a friendly and professional manner, mix and serve a variety of drinks according to customers’ preferences and established recipes, keep the bar area clean and organised, including stocking supplies and disposing of waste. You will handle cash and credit card transactions and maintain accurate records of sales, while ensuring that customers have an enjoyable and safe experience by monitoring alcohol consumption and complying with relevant laws and regulations. You will also collaborate with other staff members, such as servers and kitchen staff, to provide a seamless and efficient service.

What we are looking for: We are looking for a bartender with proven experience in this or in a similar role, excellent knowledge of mixing techniques, alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages, and glassware. We are looking for someone with a friendly and outgoing personality and excellent communication and customer service skills. An ideal candidate should have an ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously, will have attention to detail and ability to maintain cleanliness and organisation in a high-traffic area and flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required. On top of that, the candidate should have knowledge of relevant laws and regulations related to the sale and consumption of alcohol

Even better if you have/are: An ideal candidate for a bartender may have experience with specialty cocktails or mixology, familiarity with inventory management and cost control techniques or a certification in responsible alcohol service and safety. You may also have knowledge of additional languages to communicate with a diverse customer base.
