We are looking to employ an Executive Housekeeper to oversee the cleanliness and organisation of our premises. The ideal candidate will have experience managing a large housekeeping team, be highly organised, and have excellent attention to detail.

The role: As an Executive Housekeeper, you will oversee the daily operations of the housekeeping department, including scheduling, training, and supervising housekeeping staff. You will ensure that all rooms and public areas are clean and well-maintained, and that the premises are stocked with necessary supplies. The Executive Housekeeper will also be responsible for developing and implementing cleaning standards and procedures and managing the department’s budget.

Responsibilities: The responsibilities of an Executive Housekeeper may include managing of a team of housekeeping staff, including hiring, training, scheduling, and supervising, developing and implementing cleaning standards and procedures to ensure high levels of cleanliness and organisation throughout the premises, conducting regular inspections of rooms and public areas to ensure they meet cleanliness standards and maintenance of inventory of cleaning supplies and equipment, and ensure they are properly stored and maintained. You will also collaborate with other departments to ensure guest needs are met and resolve any issues that arise, while managing the housekeeping department’s budget, including forecasting and tracking expenses.

What we are looking for: We are looking for an Executive Housekeeper with proven experience in this or in a similar role, with excellent leadership and communication skills and strong attention to detail and organisational skills. An ideal candidate should have ability to develop and implement cleaning standards and procedures, knowledge of cleaning chemicals, proper storage, and disposal methods, and ability to manage and track departmental budgets.

Even better if you have/are: An ideal candidate for an Executive Housekeeper may have a Bachelor’s degree in hospitality or related field, accompanied by the experience with hotel property management systems and scheduling software. You may have knowledge of health and safety regulations or a multilingual proficiency for guest interactions.
