We are looking to employ a Mixologist to create unique and innovative cocktails, and is knowledgeable about spirits, ingredients and cocktail recipes, to be responsible for providing a high-quality bar experience and excellent customer service.

Role: As a Mixologist, you will be responsible for creating and developing unique and creative cocktail recipes, using your knowledge of spirits, ingredients, and flavour combinations. You will provide excellent customer service, creating a welcoming and hospitable atmosphere, and ensuring customers have a memorable experience.

Responsibilities: The responsibilities of a Mixologist may include creating and developing cocktail recipes, maintaining a well-stocked bar with high-quality ingredients, providing excellent customer service, and ensuring the bar is clean and organised. You may also be responsible for managing and training other bartenders or bar staff, developing and updating cocktail menus, and collaborating with other departments, such as the slot team or events team, to create unique and memorable bar experiences. You will also be responsible for maintaining inventory and stock levels keeping the bar clean and organised.

What we are looking for: We are looking for a highly skilled and creative Mixologist with a passion for bartending and providing excellent customer service. The ideal candidate should have a strong knowledge of spirits, ingredients and cocktail recipes, as well as experience working in a high-volume bar or restaurant environment. You should also have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, and the ability to work well under pressure. A degree or certification in mixology or bartending is preferred.

Even better if you have/are: An ideal Mixologist candidate may have experience working in upscale or fine dining restaurants, as well as experience in creating custom cocktails for special events or private parties. You may also have experience in managing a bar or training other bartenders or bar staff. A passion for experimenting with new ingredients and flavour combinations, as well as a knowledge of wine, beer, and spirits beyond the standard cocktail ingredients, is highly desirable. Certification or recognition from a reputable mixology or bartending organisation is also a plus.
