We are looking to employ a Visual Designer who will be responsible for creating visual concepts and designs for various mediums, including digital, print, and social media, using creative skills and technical expertise to communicate ideas and messages through visual elements.
Role: As a Visual Designer, you will be responsible for creating visually appealing and engaging designs that communicate ideas and messages effectively. You will work closely with the marketing team to create designs for various mediums, including digital, print, and social media. You will be expected to stay up to date with design trends and best practices to ensure that our visual communications are cutting-edge.
Responsibilities: The responsibilities of a Visual Designer may include creating designs for various mediums, including website, email, social media, and print collateral. You may also be responsible for designing logos, icons, and other branding elements. Additionally, Visual Designers may be involved in the creation of graphics and animations for videos and other multimedia content. Other responsibilities may include working with the marketing team to develop design concepts for campaigns, ensuring that all designs are consistent with brand guidelines, and presenting design concepts to stakeholders.
What we are looking for: We are looking for a highly creative and skilled designer who is passionate about creating visually engaging designs that communicate ideas and messages effectively. The ideal candidate will have a strong portfolio of work that demonstrates their design skills and technical expertise. You should have a deep understanding of design principles, as well as the ability to use design software. Strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with others are also essential.
Even better if you have/are: An ideal Visual Designer candidate may have a degree in design, graphic design, or a related field. You may also have previous experience in a design role, either in-house or at an agency. Strong skills in typography, colour theory, and layout design are highly valued. Experience with web design, UX design, or video production is also a plus. Additionally, candidates who can work independently, manage their time effectively, and handle multiple projects simultaneously are highly valued. A passion for design and the ability to stay up to date with design trends and best practices are also important for success in this role.
